When should I start a hypnobirthing course?
I welcome couples at any time, but you may like to wait until your 20-week scan. The more time to practice the better, but there will be benefits to your pregnancy at whatever stage you begin.
I’m not ready yet, but I would like to join the course later in my pregnancy. What should I do?
Contact me via connectedbirth@outlook.com to join a waiting list so I can reserve a spot for you. No immediate financial commitment is required.
What does the course include?
Four 2.5hr sessions including a break with tea and cake. You will receive prerecorded relaxations via downloadable MP3 and full course notes to refer to.
Can I bring my partner?
Absolutely, I would encourage you to bring your birth partner, whether that is your partner or a supportive friend or relative. I recommend they join as they will develop confidence and knowledge and come away with practical ways to support you in your pregnancy and labour.
What if I go into labour before I complete the course?
I offer a refund based on the weeks remaining of the course.
What kind of things can I expect from the hypnobirthing course?
Once you enroll and pay your deposit for the course, you’ll receive five KGHypnobirthing mp3s so you can begin practicing. You will also receive a downloadable PDF folder of information to accompany your learning.
The group setting offers a chance to meet like-minded parents at a similar stage of pregnancy which can be fun and reassuring as well as offering a chance to chat informally. Each group session includes a break with refreshments too.
